About Sophie Pelham Burn (MMedSci ANutr.)
Sophie has an undergraduate degree in Equine Science and a master’s in Medical Science. She’s a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the same governing body as Steph.
Her grandfather was in the Household Cavalry, so she grew up surrounded by horses and took up riding when she was five years old. She has worked at various racing and polo yards.
After working as a groom, she decided to pursue a career in human nutrition and now has over 10 years of practical experience helping a wide range of athletes - from first-time Ironman triathletes and ultra-endurance cyclists to Formula 1 drivers.
For the last four years, she has also worked with the French National Nordic Ski Teams, supporting 11 athletes through their preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics - from which they returned home with eight medals.
Having recently started at Feedmark, Sophie is now applying her understanding of human performance physiology in an equine context and is proud to uphold the same ethical and professional standards with both human and equine clients.
