The flies have been bad this year, but there have been fewer flies on the horses than usual. The product smells lovely and the horses love it. I like it because it’s natural and works all day and doesn’t get washed off in the rain.

I considered it feeding Fly Formula in previous years but, for various reasons, didn't do so.
I'm glad that this year I started using it on my ex polo pony as it's really helped repel the flies.

Brought a sample pack and my mare loved it, I am not a fan of fly spray so decided to make a further purchase, I have read some use between April & October so I was late starting and may not get the full benefit. I feel there is a small reduction in flys and will continue using, I am sure it does take a while to build up full effect.

I have fed this to all of my horses for years. Reduces flies but also when they do get a bite the reaction appears less. It smells delicious and they all eat it even the picky one!!!

I used Fly Formula last year and it seemed to work well in keeping flies at bay. This year I was late in purchasing it and my horse was plagued with those horrid black flies around his eyes and face. Now he's back on it, I'm hopeful that it will have the same deterrent effects as last year. Its obviously palatable as he licks his bowl clean. Feedmark are an excellent company and I've never had any problems with them.

Just started using this.
Smells nice and have no issues with the ponies eating it, hoping it will do the job.

My pony enjoys the taste, so there is no problem in feeding it to her. It mixes easily into soaked Fastfibre. It has noticeably reduced the number of flies on her when she is in her field although I have had to use a fly spray as well during the very hot weather recently.

Nutrition Information

Fly Formula™is an oral fly deterring supplement, designed to reduce irritation from flies. When ingested on a daily basis, the pungent aroma of the ingredients passes through the skin to discourage flies.

Garlic granules contain a Sulphur compound, which is secreted through the skin. Insects taste via their feet, and those landing on the horse dislike this Sulphur, and so are less likely to bite the horse. The added Fenugreek seeds potentiate this effect, and along with other aromatic herbs known to be disliked by insects, such as Lemon peel, Peppermint and Rosemary, help to repel unwanted attention. In addition to this, ingredients that optimise skin health, such as Chamomile, Nettle, and Linseed help to soothe any areas affected by pesky flies. The proven probiotic, Yea-Sacc®, ensures maximum absorption of the desired nutrients.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Fly Formula™is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
