Here at Feedmark we have a Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) policy which keeps all our supplements up to date with the latest scientific research, ensuring that your horse receives the best possible nutrition.

We have now incorporated a Linseed Oil into Clarity’s formulation, which is high in Omega 3 fatty acids and has a soothing effect on the respiratory tract. In addition, we have reduced the grass meal content to further minimise sugar content and to create a better concentration of the active ingredients whilst maintaining a well dispersed product with great palatability!

Rest assured, Clarity still contains all the original, powerful active ingredients to give your horse the same fantastic benefits.

I used to have medication from the vets regularly for one of my horses. He had a virus at a young age and regular breathing problems. Not wanting to give him medication full of chemicals and which was costing a fortune, I spoke to the Feedmark Team at Your Horse Live. I have been using Clarity ever since and no need for vets. His breathing will never be perfect, but Clarity helps considerably to keep his airways clear.

Nutrition Information

Horses are natural athletes with a staggering ability to take in oxygen and deliver it via the lungs to working muscles. In a healthy horse, the respiratory tract supplies all the body's tissues with enough oxygen and copes with the increased demand for oxygen associated with exercise. The horse's airways are highly specialised to ensure efficient function and to protect them from environmental irritants. Their defences include a lining of tiny hair-like cilia and a thin layer of mucus which traps particles and stops them from travelling deep into the lungs, and specialised cells called macrophages which engulf tiny particles that have made it right down into the alveoli, deep within the lungs.

Clarity™ helps to keep your horse’s respiratory tract in good health and allows your horse to perform at their optimum level. The addition to the horse's diet of Garlic, beneficial herbs such as Liquorice, and antioxidants that help to neutralise free radicals, have been shown to support the horse’s respiratory system and target healthy lung function. Traditionally used herbs such as Thyme, Elder Flower and Coltsfoot help to soothe the respiratory tract, whilst Oregano and Lemon peel helps to keep the airways clear.

This allows the horse to breath clearly even when external challenges such as dust and pollen are present, a problem that is increasingly common under today’s management practices. We recommend that you follow correct management practices to keep housing as dust-free and well ventilated as possible and feed Clarity™ daily for optimum respiratory health.
